Six Raider Green players reached double figures on the night: Karena Keane and Shaquisha Wall led the way with 13 points apiece. C. Ellerbe added 12, and Ashton Davenport had 11. Jennifer Steen and Rhianna David chipped in with 10 points each for Raider Green.
Full-court pressure helped Raider Green get out to an early 22-6 first-quarter lead, according to Raider Green coach Phillip Waddell.
A running clock was used in the fourth quarter.
Raider Green opens the home portion of the 2010-11 season Monday afternoon at home against Lumberton with a girls-boys doubleheader at the Richmond Ninth Grade Academy. The girls game is slated for a 4:30 p.m. tipoff, with the boys scheduled to follow at approximately 6 p.m.
