She is survived by two children, Elder Billy C. Nicholson, Jr. and Elaine Nicholson Pratt and two foster children, Erwin Reddick of Irvington, N.J. and Hattie Glenn Nicholson of Mooresville; eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia Reddick and her brother, John Reddick.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 23, at 12 p.m., at St. Stephen AME Zion Church, 407 West Ave., Hamlet, with visitation at 11 a.m.
Funeral arrangements are by Holloway Memorial Funeral Home in Durham.
