Princesses give shoes to the poor
If you only made $800 a year, the gift of a new pair of shoes may seem like a blessing. Twenty-two girls at the Second Baptist Church of Hamlet in Girls in Action, along with their adult leaders Millie Vickers, Crystal Smith and Alyssa Bailey, held an event that allowed them to take up a collection of new shoes. Ducks Unlimited to hold Dinner and Fundraiser March 7
Richmond County Ducks Unlimited will be holding its annual Dinner and Fundraiser at 5:30 p.m. March 7, at the Moose Lodge of Rockingham. Among many causes to celebrate, the organization earlier this year cleaned and maintained around 67 wood duck boxes in the county.
