Four Richmond Senior High School choral students were selected to participate in The N.C. High School All State Chorus Festival.

The event was held May 2-4 in Greensboro at the Coliseum complex. The students worked with renowned clinicians including Andrew Crane, director of Choral Activities at East Carolina University, and Kevin Fenton, professor of choral conducting and ensembles, and the University Singers of Florida State University.

The festival concluded with a concert presented at the War Memorial Auditorium. Participants included McKenzie Grimes, Raytrawn Harris, Justin Ingram, and Ahyana Cox.

These students are also members of the Richmond Senior High Show Choir which recently, under the direction of Debbie Price, received a Superior Rating at their NCMEA Music Adjudication Performance held at Sandhills Community College in Southern Pines.

Their Spring Concert was held May 14 at Cole Auditorium.
