Now is the time Richmond County, to talk up those little darlings everyone raves about. Inspire and entice friends, family members and acquaintances across the globe to cast their votes by submitting your little ones for the Richmond County Daily Journal’s 2013 Cutest Kids Contest.
This year’s contest will announce one winner for the $175 prize. The age requirement for children to enter is from birth to 12 years of age. The winner will be announced on June 17.
Playing peek-a-boo, snuggling with pets, driving tractors or wearing dad’s cap and shoes — the kids in this contest are really striking poses and laying on the cuteness.
Submissions started for the contest Monday and since contestant numbers are continually rising and currently stand at 21.
Voting will take place June 1 through 5 p.m. June 15.
The contest is being conducted online, with photo submissions and voting taking place through yourdailyjournal.com. The winners will be announced in the Daily Journal, as well as on the website. Readers can enter more than one child and when the voting begins, everyone can vote as many as five times per day. See the contest site for complete rules and entry guidelines.
This year’s contest is sponsored by Discovery Place KIDS-Rockingham.
