Mineral Springs School hosted its Winter Math Night on Jan. 24. Families enjoyed a chili dinner followed with grade-level sessions for parents and students. Parents engaged in many of the eight Common Core Mathematical Practices including persevering through problems, constructing arguments for the answers and explaining their answers to others. Children enjoyed technology-based games and working to solve problems with the First in Math program.
