Whatever problems we face in our life, or nation, I believe we need to pray. Maybe I am a preacher of doom, but as Christians we have the light of God’s mercy to look to for help.
We can blame the oil disaster on BP, and many more problems on our leaders in Washington.
If we would sincerely repent of our sins, turn from our wicked ways and pray - then God would heal our land.
There are still enough Christians in America that, by faith in God’s grace, and Jesus Christ paying for our salvation with his life on the cross, to make a difference.
It is easy to point our finger and blame others when all we need to do is look at the person in the mirror. We can’t escape Hell and Heaven just by being good, or serving just any pagan god.
As we see wicked leaders change the laws of our freedom, we must also take up our cross and follow the only Lord who is perfect. He never promised it would be easy, but not even death can take us from His loving hands.
We must love God more than anyone, and love others as our own self. Never turn our back on Israel, and know Jesus is the way, truth and life - by His cross is the only way to God.

As to Israel: Explain yourself. The government of Israel has stolen from, maimed and crippled the Palestinian people. Is this what your loving god teaches? It amuses me that Christians preach peace and love only to engage in war and atrocity.
