Dear Editor,
Last night, at the intersection at Northam Cemetery, I about hit a man on a scooter.
There were no lights or reflectors on this mechanical device other than the dull red tail light, that could only be seen from behind him.
This could have been a very bad situation. Why are people allowed to ride these vehicles on roads? They are not safe and they pose serious dangers to other drivers as well.
