Tammy Linne Wright, 47, of Ellerbe, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2012, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, in the Carter Funeral Home Ellerbe Chapel with Rev. Donnie Davis officiating. Interment will follow in Chappell Cemetery.

The family will see friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Carter Funeral Home in Ellerbe and at other times at the Wright home, 236 Clayton Carriker Road.

Wright was born Oct. 13, 1965, in Richmond County, a daughter of Royle Wright and the late Sylvia Dianne Henderson Wright. She had been a member of the Ellerbe Rescue Squad and the Derby Fire Department and was a bus driver with Richmond County Schools.

Surviving are her son Phillip McBride of Hamlet; daughter, Meredith McBride of the home; father and step-mother, Royal and Kathy Wright of Ellerbe; one grandchild; and sister, Jodi Wright of Rockingham.
