ROCKINGHAM, N.C. — Troy Christopher Preslar, 39, died Monday, February 4 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

A memorial service was held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 9, at the East Rockingham United Methodist Church officiated by the Rev. Pat Sykes.

He is survived by his wife, Amanda Burris Preslar; his mother, Ann Preslar of Rockingham:a son, Jacob Preslar of Lumberton; two daughters, Kristen Danielle Preslar of Lumberton and Jenna Preslar of Rockingham: one brother, David Preslar of Laurinburg: a grandchild, Kenzlee Preslar. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Whittni Preslar: his father, Reuben A. Preslar, Jr.; maternal grandparents, D.R. and Lucille Huggins and paternal grandparents, Alva and Pearl Preslar.
