The Rockingham Housing Authority is reaching out to the community for support.
“It is our goal to provide each child we serve under the age of 13 with an educational or activity toy and our seniors with a gift that will make their Christmas a little brighter,” said Director Chereka Belton-Odom. “There is no gift too small.”
Please drop your unwrapped gifts or monetary contribution at the RHA main office located at 809 Armistead Street, Rockingham, NC 28379 by Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012.
For monetary contributions, please mail checks payable to the Rockingham Housing Authority, P.O. Box 160, Rockingham, NC 28380.
All monetary contributions are tax deductible. Also, if you have any slightly used Christmas decoration that you no longer want, please bring them by the office as well. The RHA will utilize the decoration for their Santa workshop.
