Perdue Farms Inc. held its annual service awards banquet on Jan. 16, 2013 at the RCC Cole Auditorium. This annual celebration recognizes associates with 20 or more years of service and associates who have retired in the past year. The senior management, joined by each recipient’s department manager, thanked these valued employees for their contributions, accomplishments, and years of service.

Jim Haley, Rockingham Business Unit Leader, was the keynote speaker. Haley highlighted changes that have happened throughout society and also changes within Perdue Farms Inc. over the last 20-25 years.

“The one constant has been the consistent dedication, commitment, and loyalty that the associates being honored tonight have shown over that same time period. These associates are some of the very first team members that joined us when Perdue came to Rockingham.

“Throughout their years of service they have shown the ability to lead all other team members through the many changes that have occurred at our facility,” said Haley.

Haley continued with remarks that highlighted some specific contributions of individuals in the audience that had helped him personally over the last quarter century. He concluded his remarks by stating his gratitude to the associates for their contributions and loyalty that have enabled the Rockingham facility to consistently perform at the very highest levels.
