Dear Editor, I am a concerned citizen from Zion Church Road. Lately our neighborhood seems to have become a place where it seems it is okay to through soda bottles full of urine, tampon applicators, dirty diapers, and busted beer bottles and beer cans along the roadside. I have had several back fusions and really unable to pick up behind others like this.

On Monday, April 13th, I took my walking cane and went walking to clean up this disgrace along the road. When I completed my roadside cleaning, I had accumlated two trash bags of nasty uncalled for trash. People should be pleased to be an American.

Don’t litter the streets with such none sense. No one wants to pick up after you like a child. This road has been adopted by the Zion Circle Church. They do a great job cleaning up litter. I thought if you hauled trash of any kind to the waste site ,it was supposed to be covered up. This highway has become very dangerous due to the large trucks speeding down the ro ad to the paper mill. Never the less there are other citizens that also speed up and down this road in cars, trucks, and four -wheelers. Anyone that tries to help keep the litter picked up is in danger of being hit by a speeding vehicle or big truck.

Please take this letter into consideration. Advise should also be focused on the adults and children riding four- wheelers with the proper safety equipment. Let’s keep America beautiful and safe.

Children should not ride 4 wheelers on the road anyway. Isn't it illegal?
