Mrs. Billie Jean Baker, 60, of Fayetteville, passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2012 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9pm Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012 at Reeves Funeral Home in Hope Mills.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012 in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
Mrs. Baker leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Horace Baker; daughters, Rebecca Gockel and husband Brian of Taft, CA, and Melanie Kaha and husband Randy of Fayetteville; mother; Bernice Watkins and husband Robert of Hamlet; three sisters, Diane Dawkins and husband Jack of Rockingham, Sandra Kirk and husband Ron of Rockingham, and Elaine Morgan and husband Claude of Winnabow; four brother-in-laws, Robert Baker and wife Kathy of Manahawkin, NJ, Charles Baker and wife Catherine of Lancaster, SC, Father Don Baker of Phoenix, AZ, and Barry Baker of Hope Mills; and seven grandchildren, Ariel, Alex, Pete, Eric, Danielle, Patrick, and Isabella.
Mrs. Baker was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
