Congratulations to Miss North Carolina, Kristen Dalton on winning the Miss USA pagent.

But I believe bigger congratulations should go to Miss California, Carrie Prejean on not being afraid to speak her mind concerning the controversy of same sex marriage.

Mr. Hilton was wrong for asking such a politically charged question, but I feel he was just trying to get positive results concerning same sex marriage, but alas, it backfired on him and resulted in him voting unfavorable towards Miss California.

I also noticed Mr. Trump talked negatively toward Miss California as did most of the media.

As far as I’m concerned, Miss California was the true winner. In this day in time, we need more people to stand against immoral behaviors from the world.

I pray Gods blessing on Miss Prejean.

She may have not won the Miss USA crown, but one day she will receive a far better crown in heaven!

" Miss. Cali's question should have never been asked, that doesn't give you the right to bash people's sexual preference. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, just like everyone is entitled to be either heterosexual or homosexual"

I agree. Even Miss Califorinia. what gives the media and the comics the right to bash her for her honesty in stating her view on this subject which the majority of the people agree with. It works both ways.

You people should stop living in ancient times. What society sees as "acceptable" has changed severely. Granted, Miss. Cali's question should have never been asked, that doesn't give you the right to bash people's sexual preference. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, just like everyone is entitled to be either heterosexual or homosexual.

I also agree with you Melvin. I think they asked her a question that should have never been allowed in the pagent. I thought she would win but that one question killed all her hopes and dreams. She comes from California a state that sees same sex everyday. I have seen it on tv where two men go walking down the street holding hands like they are married. When God made EVE he made Adam a companion and he made her female because Adam was already a male. God made her for him and if he had wanted him to be married to a man then he would have made them both men. One day will come when these people will face there maker just like we will. I would never want to marry a person of the same sex because it is just not the right thing God wanted us to do. Any judge that allows it in any state has to be insane. This girl should have won. The questions should go to a panel of people to make sure they are the right ones to be asking from now on.

I normally don't agree with you Melvin but I do on this issue. Miss America pageant is not a political platform and Hilton should not have asked such a polarized question. That like asking her "are you for or against abortion. I do respect her for not selling out. I'm a left-winger with the normal liberal views and I respect people who don't cave in under pressure.
