Brittany Lee Misenheimer and Thomas Heath Kirkley were united in marriage on Oct. 8, 2011, at First Presbyterian Church of Concord. Pastor Todd Hobbie officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Steve and Bobbie Misenheimer of Huntersville. She is a 2006 graduate of North Mecklenburg High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she obtained a B.S. in Business Administration Marketing. Brittany is employed in Marketing at Carolinas HealthCare System.
The groom is the son of Tillman V. Kirkley Jr. “Bubba” and Tammy Watts Kirkley of Hamlet. He is a 2007 graduate of Richmond Senior High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a B.A. in Sociology. He is employed as a Logistics Coordinator at Corporate Traffic.
The bride was given away by her parents during the ceremony. Audra Misenheimer served as the Matron of Honor. Bridesmaids included Reese Misenheimer of Denver and Mandy Baldwin of Concord. The bride chose Katelyn and Molly Berry of Davidson as flower girls.
Carson Misenheimer of Charlotte served as the ring bearer along with honorary Austin Misenheimer of Charlotte.
The groom chose his father, T.V. Kirkley Jr., as his best man. Ushers included Brent Misenheimer of Charlotte, Grey Misenheimer of Charlotte, Hunter Kirkley of Hamlet, Chase Baldwin of Concord, Will Kirkley of Southern Pines, Mario Cruz of Columbia, S.C., T.J. Eaves of Cullowhee, Alex Esquivel of Charlotte and Jackson Berry of Davidson.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Brian Sapp.
A reception was held at the Historic Concord Hotel in Concord. The couple spent a week in San Diego, Calif., for their honeymoon.
