Bob and Kitty Williams Maddrey celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on the weekend of June 1, 2012, with a family gathering at the home of Jimmy and Vicky Maddrey in Hampstead, Md.
Hosts were their children, Bobby of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and his family from Baltimore and Asheville; Jimmy and his wife Vicky and their family from Hampstead, Md., and Kitty’s brother, Andrew Craig from Asheville.
Bob and Kitty were married June 1, 1952, at First Baptist Church in Ellerbe.
They have five grandchildren, Brian and wife Carol, Kevin and wife Ashlee, John Winston, James and Lynda Kathryn. They also have two great grandsons, Christopher and Ryan, sons of Brian and Carol.
Bob is retired from the Federal Government and Kitty works part time at E.E. Vuncannon, Inc., in Ellerbe. The couple makes their home in Ellerbe.
