Frances Anne Buffaloe, 70, of Marston, died December 31, 2011 at her home. She was born April 18, 1941 in Richmond County, a daughter of the late James Henry Buffaloe, Jr. and Flossie Dunn Buffaloe.

She was a member of Jones Springs United Methodist Church and retired elementary school teacher with High Point and Richmond County School systems.

She was preceded in death by a brother William Edward Buffaloe.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Watson-King Funeral Home Chapel in Hamlet with Rev. Dena White, Rev. Robert Carpenter and Rev. Janet Buffaloe officiating. Burial will follow at Richmond Co. Memorial Park.

Surviving, her sisters, Martha Buffaloe Sumner of Raleigh and Peggy Buffaloe of Marston. A brother, Jimmy Buffaloe of Marston.

The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8 P.M. at Watson-King Funeral Home in Hamlet and at other times her home 127 Mercer St. Marston.
