Lisa Dawn Austin and Matthew Thomas O’Neal, both of Rockingham, announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Jerry “Zero” Austin and Joy D. Austin. She is the granddaughter of Ned and Ernestine Dawkins and the late Lorenzo Glenn and Baleuh “Bootsie” Austin. Lisa received an Associate degree in Healthcare Management from RCC and serves as the Volunteer Coordinator at Richmond County Hospice.
The groom-elect is the son of Terri and Tommy Nichols and Charles and Debbie O’Neal. He is the grandson of Naomi Peele and the late Pete Peele of Hamlet and Letha O’Neal and the late David O’Neal Sr. of Rockingham. Matt is a graduate of the class of 2003 at Richmond Senior High School and is employed with Martin Mini Storage.
The couple will be married at 6 p.m. on Aug. 18, 2012, in Rockingham.
