To the editor:

The Democratic Party has to go! In the age of changing everything that has a history that might piss someone off, we must do away with with the Democratic Party.

The Confederate flag had to go, statues of Confederate heroes are being torn down across the South, there’s a movement to have Fort Bragg’s named changed because Bragg was a Confederate general, the Fayetteville city seal is supposed to be changed because slaves were sold at the market place. Yet so many people love to forget or perhaps never knew that the Democratic Party was completely against freeing the slaves.

That’s right, children! The party of Mr. Barack Hussein Obama II was the party of racist bigots everywhere in the 1870s and ’80s. So if you are clinging to the notion that today’s party is any different, it isn’t. It still enslaves people with the same socialist ideas it did back then. They just suck up to minorities to get their vote instead of beating them for work now. At the end of the day, they still could care less about you as long as they get what they want. If not, they drag you through the media and call you racist.

But all that aside, the Democratic Party is still a symbol — not of progress, but of hate. Hate for anyone who stands in their way, hate for free speech and hate for anyone who doesn’t believe in letting Planned Parenthood kill 300,000 children a year.

The Fayetteville market hasn’t sold a slave in more than 100 years, but if that seal has to go, so does the Democratic Party. And before some smart aleck writes in suggesting that this letter shouldn’t be put in the paper because it spews hate and I’m trying to be funny and I’m a racist, I’m not.

I firmly do not believe in hating someone because of race, sex, religion, sexual orientation or belief system. So I hate everyone. What’s fairer than that?

And on a personal note, if Jay Macon doesn’t like the way this paper does business as far as printing everyone’s opinion whether it be left or right, I would suggest refraining from reading the opinion column. Or move to California where only the liberal sides of stories are printed. Maybe that would suit you better. God Bless America!
