To the editor:

Someone came like a “thief in the night” to the Ellerbe Cemetery and stole from the dead!

My husband was buried on Dec. 30. I placed a wreath on his grave on Jan. 1 and by Jan. 4,. it had been stolen.

Maybe you watched as I placed the wreath and waited until I left to do your “deed” or maybe it’s your hobby to drive around cemeteries to do your “shopping.” Whichever the case, you know who you are…but then, you don’t care and have no conscience. One day you will be caught. To me, you are just a common thief.

God my grant you forgiveness, but you won’t get it from me!
