I have written several times that illusions are illusions no matter how real they’re made to appear. Our handlers have led us to believe that we are free people to think how we want to and free to think when we want to. That’s a damn lie.

We have been led down a path that has exits and we must — for the sake of the country as a whole — exit while we still can.

I love my country with all of my heart. I love all my people; I don’t care what color you are or what language you speak. If you are an American citizen or you are trying to become a citizen, I am there for you. I love my country, but I fear this government and this current administration.

Our short history and our country is made up of and founded on “We the People, for the People, governed by the People.” That’s what I was taught in school.

My love and loyalty for this country has been paid for with blood. The blood of the young and old of my extended family. My family has served the people of these United States of America, and served it with pride.

I hold no banner in the sky with the wish that I am a rally point. Far from the truth, for there have been millions who went before me and my family. There have been far better men than myself who have given all for our America. I try only to be a small voice with the hope that but one person will listen and see what has become of us collectively.

Call it being brainwashed or what you will, for we are not a free people. We are not free to say and do what we want. For if we were allowed our own personal expressions, we would be heard and the powers that be would take notice. They do not — they do not care.

I found out a long time ago that I am no more that a number to this government of ours. I do not refer to this administration making me feel this way. From the day I was born — and that goes back many administrations ago — I was numbered as all of us have been.

This is the way of the federal government. It’s not that much better at state level, but it is better. I know in state and local elections that my small voice does matter to a small degree. On the federal side of this equation, I mean nothing.

I’m wrong about that, for I am an asset. To be taxed and worked until my death.

Power to the people. You keep thinking that and you’re more of a fool than I am. My eyes have been opened in this election year. That’s not to say I have not been paying attention for a long time, for I have. It’s just that now I see all the parties for what they are.

We have been taken by the nape of our neck and have had our faces shoved into the mud and told, “Just deal with it.”

I say “Hell no!” — no more for me.

Claims and counterclaims by all the parties. I feel I am choking on all of the lies being shoved down our throats. It matters not whose mouth from which those lies come.

Nothing but self-serving bastards is what I and most of the American people are seeing. There is no hope for the little man to be part of this or any other presidential election. We have been lied to.

Revolt while you still can. Take back what is rightfully ours — our free will and our America. Demand common sense from these politicians. If none is to be had, then put them in jail. There they might see the evil and error of their ways and what they did not do for their people.

For the most part when they refer to “their people,” they are talking about the corporate bigwigs, not us. This ultra-rich faction of our population needs to be brought into the reality of the real world, the world you and I live in. The working-class world.

The working man and woman are not happy. In reality, we’re pissed off. That’s one thing I can promise you is not an illusion. You keep on pushing the worker to the side and you will get blindsided one day, real soon. I fear that day is upon us all.

I know in my critics’ eyes, all is great — all is fine with the people. The reason all is fine with some of these people is because they do not work and get free everything from the government. Damn this cradle-to-grave support just because you vote in the right direction.

I have no love for Mr. Trump or the way that he sees most things taking place in this country and the world as far as that goes. But what I do see is outrageous. The treatment of Trump by the Republican Party is going to be the party’s downfall.

Mark these simple words down in your mind. The Republican Party is giving Clinton the White House on a silver platter. I hope you are damn happy with this potential outcome. This election cycle is going to make the 1968 Democratic National Convention look like child’s play compared to what is going to take place at the Republican convention if the party’s fatcats decide to take their ball and go home and not do as the voters wish.

Some will say Clinton has to worry about the FBI’s investigation. No, she does not. Over the weekend of April 10, Obama basically let the American people know that Clinton has done nothing and the Department of Justice will do nothing to upset her campaign. He should have kept his nose out of this.

The FBI’s investigation is ongoing, but that makes no matter, for this has been an administration that from day one has been seen to bend the laws for the party in power and its cronies.

The sellout and the sell-off is well on its way — have no fear, folks. The delegates know far better than you and I on what to do with our election. Colorado showed us all what our votes mean; that being nothing.

No vote was taken, but the delegates were all given to someone who wasn’t Trump. If Trump does not reach the magic number of won delegates, then all bets are off. Then this farce of an election is going to get real good if you are a “gladiator.”

There will be a fight, for at this point in our election year, you will see the people revolt against the party. I would not be at the Republican convention if I had front-row seats. This is going to be a nasty one if the voice of the people is not listened to.

Trump is an outsider to all in this boys’ club. But do not be surprised if the clubs truly do come out on all sides of this spectrum — it will not be a pretty sight. I can tell you this with a firm belief in what the people are feeling at this moment.

Now, this is not all written in stone. It can have another outcome. Will it? I hope for all of America it does.

This election cycle is one of the most important ones we have seen in many years. This antiquated system by which we elect the president has to be done away with — and while we’re at it, the parties as they exist today.

The delegates and the electoral college have seen better days. At one point in our history it might have worked for the people. I do not see that taking place within this election, nor do many others of America. When the people speak, Washington better listen. Washington does not hear us at this moment.

When General Armstrong Custer was killed along with his men at the Little Bighorn battle, he was found with porcupine quills in his ears. The Indian women stuck them there so his ears would be open and clear to hear in his afterlife since he did not hear the requests of the American Indians in life.

What will Washington deal with one day? What will they hear from the people?
