Funeral service education graduate
Terri Robinson-McLean, formerly of Hamlet, graduated on July 16, 2013, with honors (Phi Theta Kappa) from Fayetteville Technical Community College receiving an Associate in Applied Science degree in Funeral Service Education (Embalming and Funeral Directing).
On Aug. 12, 2013, Robinson-McLean passed the National Board Examination-Science and Arts. After completion of the required minimum one year apprenticeship with Nelson Funeral Service in Rockingham, under the supervision of W. H. “Chip” Knotts, II-Mortician, she will be eligible to receive full licensure as a Mortician. Her training with Nelson Funeral Service ends on Oct. 1, 2013.
Robinson-McLean is also a N.C. Licensed Life Insurance Producer and Notary Public. She is the daughter of Beatrice Robinson-Duff and now resides in Maxton, with husband Earl McLean. “I have aspirations of owning and operating a funeral service establishment to serve the public,” said Robinson-McLean.
