CHARLOTTE — Applications are now available for The Cole Scholarship Fund, which annually awards up to $4,000 to deserving Richmond County high school graduates to attend four-year institutions, providing access to higher education and encouraging more students in Richmond County to complete under-graduate studies.

The Cole Foundation also awards up to $7,500 for high school graduates from Richmond County with demonstrated aptitude and career potential in the visual arts through its Sally Cole Visual Arts Scholarship Program. The scholarships are part of the Foundation’s effort to give back to the community and to ensure that students from Richmond County have the opportunity to enrich their lives through post-secondary education.

The application deadline is March 3, 2017. Prospective applicants can obtain an application by visiting Foundation For The Carolinas’ website at https://fftcscholarships.communityforce.com.
