ROCKINGHAM — A man is accused of punching a woman in the face and knocking out two of her teeth.
An arrest warrant states Timothy E. Jennings, 32, of Gore Drive, Rockingham, grabbed the woman by the neck on Tuesday and squeezed while punching her in the mouth, resulting in her losing two teeth.
The accuser gave verbal testimony to a Richmond County magistrate who issued a warrant for Jennings’ arrest. Jennings was charged with misdemeanor counts of assault inflicting serious injury and assault on a female.
A release order shows that Jennings was out on bond on a domestic assault charge when the alleged attack occurred. He is currently facing another charge of assault with a deadly weapon, according to court records.
N.C. Department of Public Safety records show Jennings was previously convicted of assault on a female, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, communicating threats, wanton injury of person or property and selling a Schedule II controlled substance.
