Ten-year-old Kailey McInnis holds 8 inches of her hair that she donated to Wigs for Kids, a national nonprofit that provides hair replacements for child cancer patients who lose their hair during chemotherapy treatments. Kailey, a rising fifth-grader at Mineral Springs Elementary, made the hair donation Monday at Studio One with the help of stylist Rebecca Bouldin. Mother Scarlette King said giving the gift of hair to a child in need was Kailey’s idea.
