HAMLET — Richmond Community College will host a Career Expo from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the Cole Auditorium in Hamlet.

There will be a number of businesses and organizations represented at this event, including Global Packaging, Butler Manufacturing, Perdue, Plastek, FCC, Therafirm, Fayetteville Police Department, Department of Workforce Solutions – Richmond County and the N.C. Department of Public Safety.

RCC faculty and staff will also be on hand to answer any questions about college services and programs.

“This is a great opportunity for anyone who is looking for employment locally or regionally,” said Dr. Carlotta Griffin-Knotts, RCC’s Career Center director. “We encourage people who want to make a good impression with potential employers to dress appropriately and to bring several copies of their resume with them to leave with the businesses and organizations at this career fair.”

RCC will hold a résumé workshop from 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday in the Career Center, which is located in the Lee Building on the college’s main campus in Hamlet. Resumes can also be developed online through RCC’s Career Coach. Visit www.richmondcc.edu and click on Career Coach under the tab for student services.
