On March 12, Richmond County sheriff’s deputies arrested Jamie Renee Marshburn, 16, Deven Kade Freeman, 16 and Jaquan Kimbel Bailey, 16, after a traffic stop on Broad Avenue in Rockingham.


Freeman, Louise Avenue, Rockingham, was charged with possession with intent to sell and distribute marijuana and possession with intent to sell and distribute a Schedule IV narcotic.


Bailey, Sandlot Court, Hamlet, was charged with possession with intent to sell and distribute marijuana.


Marshburn, Sedgefield Road, Rockingham, was charged with maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance.


All three were released on a written promise to appear in court.


Rockingham woman charged with credit card fraud


Elizabeth Dawn Mintz, 33, was arrested on March 4 by Richmond County sheriff’s deputies for taking a victim’s credit card and using it without permission.


The Lassister Road resident was charged with financial card fraud, financial card theft and assault and battery.


Mintz was placed in Richmond County Jail under a $16,500 secure bond.


Everett arrested for outstanding warrants


Richmond County sheriff’s deputies arrested Toni Marie Everett, 31, on March 6 for outstanding warrants of selling cocaine on November 15, 2013.


The Rockingham resident was arrested and charged with selling and delivering cocaine, possession with intent to sell and distribute cocaine and misdemeanor larceny.


Everett was confined to Richmond County Jail under a $10,500 secure bond.


Rockingham man arrested on meth charges


On February 27, Richmond County sheriff’s deputies arrested Charles Edward Nichols, 38, for conspiring with another individual to sell meth.


Nichols, Richmond Road, was charged with conspiring to sell methamphetamine.


He was placed in Richmond County Jail under a $10,000 secure bond.


Boatwright charged with meth possession


Angie Denise Boatwright, 32, was arrested by Richmond County sheriff’s deputies on March 19 for possession of methamphetamine.


The Rockingham resident was charged with possession of methamphetamine.


Boatwright was arrested and then released on a $5,000 unsecure bond.


Man charged with felony larceny


Richmond County sheriff’s deputies arrested Joe Davis Hough, 60, for taking tractor implements from a victim.


Hough, Holly Grove Church Road, was arrested and charged with felony larceny.


He was confined in Richmond County Jail under a $5,000 secure bond.


Rockingham woman arrested for cocaine


Lillian Gibson, 64, was arrested by Richmond County sheriff’s deputies on February 26 for selling cocaine.


Gibson, Stokes Road, was charged with selling and delivering cocaine.


The Rockingham resident was arrested and then released on a $2,500 unsecure bond.


Williams arrested for controlled substance


On January 16, Richmond County sheriff’s deputies arrested Alisha Bereanne Williams, 20, for selling a Scheduled II controlled substance.


Williams, Lumbee Lane, was charged with selling and delivering a Scheduled II narcotic.


The Hamlet woman was arrested and released on a $5,000 unsecure bond.


Woman charged with selling narcotic


Kaylee Nicole Sweet, 22, was arrested by Richmond County sheriff’s deputies on February 27 for selling a Scheduled II controlled substance.


The Hamlet resident was charged with selling and delivering a Scheduled II narcotic.


Sweet was arrested and released on a $5,000 unsecure bond.
