HAMLET — Lonnie Hicks, maintenance caretaker of Piney Pointe Apartments in Hamlet, received the Territory Maintenance Caretaker of the Year for 2016 at the Partnership Property Management Annual Awards Banquet Dec. 6 in Florence, South Carolina.

According to a press release from Partnership Property Management, the award is presented to a field employee “chosen from nominees of over 13 properties (who) has shown exceptional professionalism, enthusiasm and dedication to his property. He was honored in front of more than 150 co-workers including Mike Holoman, CEO and partner of Partnership Property Management.”

Hicks, of Bennettsville, South Carolina, has worked with Partnership Property Management since 2015. He was nominated by property manager Chad Bixler.

“He was chosen for this prestigious award because of his efforts to make this community a safe and well maintained home for the residents,” the press release reads.

Partnership Property Management employs more than 450 full-and-part-time employees, with the corporate office located in Greensboro and branch offices in Asheville and Florence.
