GREENSBORO — CommunityOne Bank, N.A. recently named Melissa Beane as a business banker for its eastern North Carolina markets including Richmond, Moore and Scotland counties.

“We are pleased to welcome Melissa to the CommunityOne business banking team and are confident her experience and familiarity with the local markets will be an asset toward helping us grow our business in eastern North Carolina,” Hillary Kestler, small business sales leader for CommunityOne, said in a release.

Beane, a longtime Randolph County resident, joins the bank with more than 31 years of banking experience. In her role as a business banker, she will be responsible for developing and managing small business relationships within Guilford, Randolph, Alamance, Chatham, Moore, Orange, Richmond and Scotland counties.

Beane is a graduate of the North Carolina School of Banking and RMA Commercial Lending School. She has served as a loaned executive for the United Way of Randolph County, former chairman of the Community Planning and Funds Distribution Committee, is a graduate of Leadership Randolph County and former secretary for the Randleman Chamber of Commerce.
