This Thursday happened to be the spring choral and band performance. Though I didn’t get to hear much of the band performance, I was very impressed with what I did hear dynamically during their rehearsal.

I wished that I was able to hear them, however, chorus performed after them, meaning I was not able to. This semester I was not in concert band, however, I was in marching band — along with my brother — last semester.

This year I was very impressed with the arrangement of the chorus concert, which is likely the best choral concert I have seen or been in — which most would say is not that high of an achievement. However, I have seen more than you might think, as band and chorus has always been the same night and all of my siblings have been in band. My oldest sister, Susannah Walters, is 11 years older than me.

I remember that I also liked the performances that Mrs. Price, the old chorus teacher, put on — especially her last, which upset me at the time, as I was very excited to join high school chorus, largely because of her.

However, I have not been disappointed since and I am very happy to be a part of these programs now.
