TWISTED TREATS GRAND OPENING will be from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the Richmond Plaza. There will be a special performance from Cassette Rewind with free face paintings, $1 popcorn and cotton candy and $2 eight ounce yogurt cup fill-ups or two scoops of hand dipped ice cream.

BUFFET BREAKFAST will take place from 6:30 to 10 a.m. at Cameronian Presbyterian Church, 179 Northam Road, Rockingham. Cost is $8 per person, and 100 percent of the proceeds will go to Jane Dawkins to help with medical expenses.

MONTHLY BREAKFAST will be served from 7 to 10 a.m. at Hamlet First United Methodist Church. Plates are $5 and include two meats, eggs, grits, biscuit and gravy, juice and coffee. Take-outs also available.

26TH ANNIVERSARY SINGING WITH THE CAMERONIAN QUARTET will be at 6 p.m. at Cameronian Presbyterian Church, 179 Northam Road, Rockingham. Pianist Joey Gore will be the special guest. A love offering will be taken, and 100 percent will go to Jane Dawkins to help with medical expenses.

CONCEALED WEAPONS CLASS will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 573 Battley Dairy Road, Hamlet. This nine hour course will equip the participant with the skills and knowledge needed to operate and carry their handgun concealed. This class is presented in the classroom and on the range. Students must bring a handgun and 50 rounds of ammunition. After completing the class successfully, students will receive a certificate that allows them to apply with the state for their concealed carry permit. GOLF TOURNAMENT sponsored by New Hope Missionary Baptist Church will begin at 7:30 a.m. at Loch Haven Golf Course. Registration fee is $60 per person or $240 for a group of four.

MOUNT SINAI YOUTH SPORTS FAIR will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mount Sinai Baptist Church on Graham Bridge Road in Rockingham. Fair is for youth ages 5-18, and the cost is $10 per person. Participants will be informed on four sports offered from an experienced adult athlete and/or coach; Perry Williams for football and track, Bobby Cooke for basketball, Terri Mack and Onequa Crump for physical fitness and gymnastics and Sensei Billy Little for karate.
