Recently my mother took my family and I to see “Finding Dory.”

“Finding Dory” is the long awaited sequel to “Finding Nemo.”

In this fast-paced film, our dear fishy friends come back to visit us once again. This time, the film is centered around Dory, a blue and yellow fish that we met in the first film.

For fans of “Finding Nemo,” Dory is a well-acquainted character that they know and love. Despite her difficulties, Dory is a heroic character who provides comedy relief throughout the film.

In this movie, we are able to realize the effect that Dory had on both her own movie and “Finding Nemo.” She gains respect throughout the movie when we feel the loss of her as a character.

Despite this, the film progresses by the fish asking themselves, “What would Dory do?” and by Dory’s tactics, we are finally able to reach her and learn more about her.

We meet many new characters and explore a whole new setting — a California public aquarium.

Despite the film’s plot and characters, the movie is as fast-paced as any action film due to Dory’s short-term memory loss.

This film is sure to keep your kids entertained and excited for the summer and will make shopping for Christmas gifts easy again this year.
