Mr. and Mrs. Justin Ralph “Bo” Collins Jr., of Rockingham, were honored with a reception in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 2, in the fellowship hall at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Rockingham.

Hosts for the occasion were the Collins’ son and daughter, Robin Collins and Kathy Collins.

Justin Ralph Collins Jr. and the former Patsy Crenshaw were married April 3, 1966 at the Community Church in Rockingham.

Approximately 110 family and friends signed the guest book and were greeted by Mr. and Mrs. Collins; son, Robin; and daughter, Kathy.

The fellowship hall was beautifully decorated in colors of black and gold by Kathy, Robin and special friends. Beautiful arrangements of flowers were placed on all of the serving tables and also a memoir table. Also on the memoir table, there were high school graduation pictures of Mr. and Mrs. Collins along with a beautifully framed picture with “The Collins Family Tree” that was given to their parents from Robin and Kathy Collins. The wedding albums and newspaper clippings were also displayed on the gift table.

Family and friends enjoyed delicious refreshments, punch and cake that were prepared and served by close friends of the family.

The flower arrangements were placed in the church sanctuary for the Sunday morning service in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Collins.
