FAYETTEVILLE — Two Richmond County students have received chancellor’s list honors at Fayetteville State University.

Sociology major Hannah Sweatt of Rockingham was named to the chancellor’s list for the spring and fall 2015 semesters and bachelor of science in nursing major Kaytlin Burgess of Hamlet was named to Fayetteville State’s chancellor’s list for the spring semester.

Also recognized from the area was Dannisha Green of Mount Gilead, who was named to the fall 2015 chancellor’s list.

Fayetteville State held a recognition program April 19 for students receiving the honor for the previous academic year’s spring and/or fall semesters. These students successfully completed at least 12 hours per semester or two consecutive terms for Fort Bragg students, earned a GPA of 3.75 or higher, and had no incomplete grades.

FSU is the second-oldest public institution in North Carolina. A member of the University of North Carolina System, FSU has more than 6,000 students and offers degrees in more than 60 undergraduate and graduate degree programs.
