LEATH MEMORIAL LIBRARY will host a Halloween trick-or-treat event from 2 to 4:30 p.m. inside the library. There will be bags of candy and prizes available for those who dress up in costume.

WILLS AND ADVANCE DIRECTIVES CLINIC conducted by Legal Aid of North Carolina at the Dobbins Heights Community Center, 222 Earle Franklin Drive, Dobbins Heights. The clinic will cover preparation and execution of wills, powers of attorneys, health care powers of attorneys and living wills. TRUNK-OR-TREAT from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Mount Olive Baptist Church, 596 E. Washington St. Extension, Rockingham. There will be candy and hayrides and children are encouraged to wear costumes but nothing scary. All children must be accompanied by a parent or adult and are asked to bring a bag to collect candy. SEABOARD FESTIVAL AFTER-PARTY hosted by Hamlet Chapter 1 will take place from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the East Hamlet Community Center, 155 Laurel Hill Road, Hamlet. The event is for the purpose of raising funds for scholarships for deserving students aspiring to go to college. Tickets are a donation of $10.
