RICHMOND COUNTY HOSPICE will host a fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. at Smithfield’s Chicken ‘N Bar-B-Q in Rockingham. Smithfield’s will donate 20 percent of the proceeds during that time to Richmond County Hospice for its fifth annual “Salute to Veterans” event.

“NO MORE” CANDLELIGHT VIGIL AND MARCH presented by New Horizons Life and Family Services will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Harrington Square in downtown Rockingham and end at the Richmond County Courthouse steps. This event is being held to honor the memory of those who have lost their lives due to domestic violence in North Carolina.
