Wendy Massagee has joined real estate company Covington Investment Properties, Inc., covering the Richmond County market, announced Broker/Owner Linda Davis Covington.
Covington Investment Properties is a full service real estate firm headquartered in Southern Pines. Massagee will be covering the Richmond County area. A Richmond county native, Covington said she has always had a fondness for her hometown and she is pleased to have Massagee representing her company here and looks forward to growing the business.
Massagee has seven years of real estate experience and has earned certificates in Home Staging and Seller Representation. She also earned numerous performance awards and honors during her affiliation with RE/MAX. A graduate of UNCP, she has been a member of the Hamlet Rotary Club for more than 15 years. As a Rotarian she served as President, Rotarian of the Year and is a Paul Harris Fellow. She resides in Hamlet with her family and is a member of First United Methodist Church.
Massagee said there has been some confusion.
“I am not working in Southern Pines,” she said. “My company is headquartered there just like the franchise firms are headquartered out of state. I am here in Richmond County.
“I like the idea of working with a small, locally owned company that understands my market area and the challenges my buyers and sellers in Richmond County are having. I like the more personal approach. When my clients call, they get me, not an assistant. We are not looking to be the biggest company, but to offer the best buying/selling experience possible.”
