Lon Christopher “Chris” Henry, 58, of Hamlet, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted graveside Friday, Dec. 23, 2011, at 1 p.m. at New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. William D. Oldland officiating.

The family will receive friends following the services at the cemetery.

He was born Apr. 10, 1953, in Lexington Co., S.C., a son of the late, Liston C. and Vennie Ruth Bell Henry. Chris worked with CSX Railroad until his retirement.

Surviving are his sister, Carol Rainwater of Hamlet; and two brothers, L.C. Henry of Hamlet and Lanny Henry of Sugar Grove, N.C.
