DOBBINS HEIGHTS — Three new employees started work with the town this week.

R.J. Ingram and Daniel Harrington were hired as part-time maintenance workers, according to Town Manager Mary Magee.

The pair started Monday and will take care of sanitation, cleaning up the streets and cutting back trees, she said.

The town now has a total of four maintenance personnel working alternate schedules, from 8 a.m. to noon and from noon to 4 p.m.

James Tomey III was also hired as a part-time lifeguard for the town pool.

Magee said Tomey will fill in as needed until the pool closes in early September.
