ROCKINGHAM — Richmond County sheriff’s deputies have charged a man with selling them drugs.

Deputies say they bought 3 ounces of marijuana from Joshua Edward Gazoo, 28, at his Baker Street home in Rockingham July 9. No more marijuana was found at his home, according to deputies.

Gazoo was charged with one count of selling or delivering marijuana and one count of possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana.

He was jailed under a $2,500 unsecured bond.

Gazoo had a prior conviction on a paraphernalia charge in 2005, according to the N.C. Department of Public Safety.
