Bernice Langley Crumbley, 94 of Fayetteville, N.C.,formerly of Rockingham, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2013, in Cape Fear Valley Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Marlboro County, S.C. on Aug. 20, 1919. She was the a daughter of Willie and Amanda Cumber Langley.
She was a long time member of Pee Dee United Methodist Church and retired from the spinning room of Aleo Manufacturing.
She was preceded in death by her husband Horace Crumbley.
She is survived by her daughter, Anita Adcock and husband Terry of Eastover; brothers, Dr. John Langley and wife Hilda of Rockingham and Rev. George Langley of Bladenboro; grandchildren, Kevin Adcock of N. Charleston, S.C., Kristie Johnson and husband Brad of Greensboro; great-grandson, Nate Johnson; and great-granddaughter, Ryan Johnson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Pee Dee United Methodist Church with Rev. Matt Seals officiating.
Burial will follow in Northam Cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
